Special Bots are hidden Bots scattered throughout each biome of Astro’s Playroom, and were added in the lead-up to the sequel, Astro Bot. Each represents a VIP Bot from Astro Bot, and can be found in the Mission Control Room of the new Labo Basement area once you’ve freed them. They will only appear after you’ve unlocked and completed 1994 Throwback.

Astro’s Playroom

These collectibles add an extra layer of depth and nostalgia to the game. The game itself effectively utilizes the DualSense controller’s features, resulting in an engaging and innovative gaming experience. Although the game is relatively short, it packs a lot of fun and demonstrates the potential of the PS5 and DualSense in this new generation of gaming. To efficiently unlock all trophies in Astro Playroom‚ start by completing the main story while collecting as many puzzle pieces and artifacts as possible.

These trophies add a layer of creativity and exploration to the game‚ encouraging players to experiment with Astro’s abilities and interact with the environment in unconventional ways. Completing these challenges not only rewards trophies but also enhances the overall gameplay experience‚ making the journey to 100% completion both fun and rewarding. Each world represents a classic PlayStation console from the PS1 all the way up to the PS5. Each level has a few secret puzzle pieces and artifacts for players to collect and use to unlock more rewards.

Combined with the hardware it’s bundled on, it’s something very special indeed – and one of the best launch titles I can remember in an age. It’s a phenomenal thing, taken even further with adaptive triggers that provide meaningful, forceful feedback. It deserves a place among the greats though – Astro’s Playroom has the coherence, character and abundance of ideas, executed with real clarity, of the very best platformers. In Astro’s Playroom, the player has to complete 4 main locations divided into 4 levels.

It’s a very easy list and you’ll have a lot of fun obtaining this Platinum. Several silver trophies are tied to collecting specific items like puzzle pieces and artifacts. For instance‚ finding all artifacts in a world or solving a puzzle unlocks these trophies. These collectibles are hidden across levels‚ requiring exploration and attention to detail.

Demo 1

Astro Bot Rescue Mission is a 2018 platform video game developed by Japan Studio’s Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4’s PlayStation VR headset. It stars a cast of robot characters first introduced in The Playroom, where they appeared as robots that lived inside of the DualShock 4 controller. In the game, the player teams up with Captain Astro and goes on a quest to rescue his lost crew scattered across different worlds. What’s so remarkable about Astro’s Playroom is that while it’s ostensibly about showing off the features of the PlayStation 5, it’s also a fabulous platformer.

Puzzle Piece 4/4 – Once you reach the section of the level where it is raining, before going up the dark wall, jump to the platform on the right to reach this puzzle piece. Artifact 2/2 “EyeToy Camera” – At the next checkpoint you can obtain the machine gun, which allows you to shoot through glass walls. Trophy Easter Eggs

Enemies themselves are either simplistically designed slimes, enemy robots, or spring-action bird things that can take out Astro with a surge of electricity. GPU Jungle characteristics a monkey suit that lets an individual use the DualSense’s motion controls in order to swing backwards and forwards just as well as rise up structures. The rocket suit in SSD Speedway will be all about power and speed to reach fresh heights as you control the suit’s thrusters with the two triggers. The rolling suit in Recollection Meadow is manipulated via touch sleeping pad, for an encounter not unlike Smart Monkey Ball. But once you perform dive in, there’s no shortage of joy that will come from how Crew Asobi has converted in-game surfaces, objects, and movement directly into different DualSense feelings. I had a bunch of games and PS+ when I got my PS5 but I still played through 100% of this and got the Platinum before I even got to any of them.

While the original Street Fighter never came to PS1, Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter did. To the right of the corridor where you first start mowing down enemies with the Gatling Gun, you’ll spot a Bo wearing a PS VR headset and using an Aim Controller. While the game he could be playing is vague, we’ve gone for Farpoint, a creepy VR game set in space that was a showcase for the Aim Controller. It was released in 2017 for PS4 and was developed by Impulse Gear. Honestly, the biggest complaint I have with Astro’s Playroom is just that it’s too damn short. I finished all 16 of the main levels, the final area, and completed each of the speed run trials in around three hours. That’s not very much content — but I still have well over half of the game’s collectibles left to discover, which could easily double the amount of time spent if I wanted to go for the platinum. I used this example last time and I like to explain that with how precise the haptics are here I can actually tell the difference between when Astro walks on wood, metal, glass, and so on.

The international version of the controller lacked the dual rumble motors, hence the name difference. Using discs meant that developers had much higher storage capacity than with cartridges, allowing for the inclusion of movies (often called FMVs) and higher-quality music. They were also much less expensive to manufacture, making it less of a risk to make a small run of games, bolstering the number of more experimental and niche releases on the system. Astro’s Playroom launches November 12th, bundled with the PlayStation 5.
